I began learning German at the age of 15 at the Ilievi German Language Center. Within three years, I managed to achieve the C1 level according to the CEFR. After completing my studies at the Medical Faculty in Skopje and taking a 12-year break from actively studying German, I decided to apply for a job and a specialization in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at a maximum-care hospital in Gera, Thuringia. I passed the professional test with excellent grades and minimal preparation, without any language difficulties at work from the very beginning. This is all thanks to CGJ and especially to my dear teacher, Valentina Ilieva, who inspired my love for learning the language. Even back then, the teaching methods were engaging and practical, especially for learning new vocabulary. Those were days filled with learning new words, grammar, jokes, and plenty of socializing. I am proud to have been part of CGJ during that time, as it always brings back beautiful memories.

I am very satisfied with the Ilievi German Language Center. I attended the course for four years, and during that time, I gained extensive knowledge in the field of the German language and the culture of German-speaking regions. Currently, I am building on that knowledge through my student work in Southern Germany. The teaching staff at the course had vast expertise and experience, which they shared with the students effortlessly. CGJ also organized events that included socializing with all course members, where we learned the language through games. The knowledge and experience I gained greatly helped me in my studies at the Faculty of Philology, where I am majoring in Translation and Interpretation - German Language.
